Moodbidri, Sep 7: An orientation programme for first year students of Dr M V Shetty Institute of Technology (MVSIT) was held here on Tuesday September 6.
Speaking after inaugurating the programme, Fr Austin Peris said that students play a vital role in the nation building process.
Fr Peris also released the second issue of the college magazine ‘Marvellous’ during the programme.
Dr M V Shetty Trust chairman Dr Ramgopal Shetty presided over the programme.
MVSIT principal Dr Sandeep Nayak, Dr Suresh Kumar, and Nagaraj Shetty were present on the dais.
Guruprasd welcomed the gathering while Vani Adiga proposed the vote of thanks.
