Brahmavar, Dec 24: The 20th Children Literary Festival unfolded at the Sri Vani High School campus in Nadur on Saturday, orchestrated by various organizations. The program commenced with an inauguration by poet and litterateur Jayant Kaykini, who emphasized the importance of nurturing literary minds from a young age for the survival and growth of language, especially in rural areas.
During the event, Alwyn Andrade unveiled a compilation of self-written poems by children, adding a creative touch to the festival. Yashashwini A Barkur, a 10th-grade student, presided over the function.

In recognition of their achievements, Karnataka Rajyotsava awardee Dr Prashant Shetty, Narendra Kumar Kota, and talented students from various schools in the district were felicitated. The event also featured a lecture by Dr Pandu Shetty, a seminar conducted by Jayant Kaykini, and poetic recitations by the participating children.
