Mangaluru: Song rendered by Patla in 'Dharma Daiva' Tuu movie released

Mangaluru, Jan 1: Trustee of Hebri Shivapura Mullugudde Koragajja Kshetra, Puneet released a song rendered by Patla Satish Shetty in the Tulu movie 'Dharma Daiva'.

Lauding the lyrics and music of the song, Puneet said, “The movie has got all signs of being a big hit in domestic and international market. The movie is made without crossing the limits of rituals of Daivaradhane. Let the movie be a great success.”

Renowned director and Tulu stage and silver screen Vijayakumar Kodialbail, who was the chief guest, said, “The cine goers will definitely get enthralled by the style of the Tulu language in the lyrics of the song as well as the singing of Bhagavatha Patla.”

K K Pejawar who wrote the lyrics for the movie, Dayananda G Kattalsaar, Geetanjali Suvarna, Balakrishna Shetty, Dawood Aboobacker, Harish Shetty, Prabhakara Poojary, Giridhar Acharya and Dayakar Alva were present.

Giving information on the production of the movie, cine actor Ramesh Rai Kukkuvalli said, “Though there is demand from other languages, Nudikattu of Daiva is verbal only for the Tulu language and ‘Tuluvas.’ As it is used under the idea of Bhoota Veda we are releasing the movie in Tulu. After seeing the response of cine goers next project will be planned.”

On behalf of the movie team Chittaranjan Shetty, Rakesh Shetty, Nitin Rai, Bharath Shetty, Sudhir Kalladka, Manoj Kumar, Kaushik Kunjadi, Satvik Rai, Narayana Rai and Umesh Rai were present.

Dinesh Shetty and Shankar Shetty were present on behalf of the Kshethra. Litterateur Prof Bhaskar Rai Kukkuvalli welcomed and did the introduction. Producer Rakesh Shetty rendered vote of thanks.
