Mangaluru, Jan 5: The closing ceremony of VK Utsav 2023 Shop and Win took place at the VK Furniture and Electronics outlet in Yeyyadi on Friday, January 5. The event witnessed the felicitation of notable figures and the announcement of prize winners.
Padmashree awardee Harekala Hajabba extended his best wishes to VK Furniture and Electronics, encouraging the business to flourish with more outlets and contribute to increased employment opportunities. Social worker Narayana Nayak expressed his gratitude for being honored by VK Furniture and Electronics. At the same time, he emphasized the importance of supporting children's education, asserting the significance of being 'god among the children.'
Environmentalist Jeeth Milan Roche spoke about the imperative need to maintain greenery in Mangaluru and advocated for tree plantation efforts. He highlighted that Mangaluru currently has only 6.4% green cover.

In October, VK Furniture and Electronics launched VK Utsav 2023 in conjunction with the Dasara and Deepavali festivals at its outlets in Yeyyadi, Kallapu Thokkottu, Vamanjoor, and VK Living Concept Ladyhill.
VK Utsav 2023 offered customers the opportunity to win attractive prizes, including a Maruti Suzuki Fronx car, Suzuki Access 125 cc scooter, and seven other prizes such as a bedroom set, sofa set, dining table, gold necklace, TV, refrigerator, and washing machine.
The event was graced by the presence of VK Furniture and Electronics former vice president Emerson Anantha Sharma, chairman and managing director Vittal Kulal, and director Vinutha Vittal Kulal. Chethan Shetty skillfully compered the event.
