Mangaluru, Jan 9: Hotel Rays Inn,' meticulously crafted Hotel complex consisting AC Boarding and Lodging, AC Pegs Family Bar & Restaurant, Veljil multipurpose AC Party Hall and D’Cunha Commercial Complex was recently inaugurated with a spectacular VIP event. The Hotel complex located at the main junction at Guruvayanakere in Beltangady, which is a popular connecting point for the commuters to Udupi/Karkala, Mangaluru, Puttur/Uppinangady, Chikkamagaluru and Dharmastala.
Fr Walter D’Mello, parish priest of Most Holy Redeemer’s Church, Beltangady, Fr Stany Goveas, parish priest of Sacred Heart Church, Madanthyar, Prathapsimha Nayak, MLC, Government of Karnataka, Vasantha Bangera, former MLA and popular leader of Beltangady, Shashidhar Shetty Baroda, CMD of Shashi Catering Services Pvt Ltd and proprietor of Kashi Palace (Ocean Pearl) Ujire, advocate Padmaraj Ramaiah, treasurer, Shri Gokarnanatha Temple Kudroli and president Gurubeladingalu Foundation and general secretary of KPCC, Anil Lobo, chairman of MCC Bank Ltd, Pius Rodrigues, politician, businessman and philanthropist from Bantwal, Bharathi S Shetty, president of Guruvanakere panchayat, and Ashvin Periera, well-known builder from Moodbidri graced the occasion.
While Vasantha Bangera inaugurated the Pegs Bar and Restaurant, Fr Stany Goveas inaugurated the AC Fine Dine Family Restaurant, Hilda Quadros inaugurated the Hotel Rays Inn Lobby and Reception, Theresa Quadros inaugurated Executive Suite Room and Lodge, and Fr Walter D’Mello and advocate Padmaraj inaugurated the Veljil multipurpose AC Party Hall.
Vijai D’Cunha and Jane D’Cunha, proprietors, were totally upbeat about their first project and brand name ‘Hotel Rays Inn’ that they set float in their home town and are highly enthusiastic that the brand would soon become popular among all tourists. The spacious rooms with large balcony and sit-out with mountain view, flat TV with DTH connection, reading table and storage cupboards, and decorated ceiling with beautiful ambience adds the comforts to the guests. They also emphasized that ‘Halli Mane,’ a well-known restaurant brand from Ujire has collaborated with Pegs Family Bar and Restaurant and will be serving variety of delicious food and beverages at three different sections at; Air-Conditioned Family Fine Dine, Men’s AC Bar and in the Local Bar as well. The Veljil multipurpose Air-conditioned banquet hall will be an ideal venue for public gatherings, parties and for any occasions with a seating capacity of nearly 500, and the same is also equipped with projector, stage, mike and speakers, they said.
The whole programme was compered by Nelson Monis Ujire, a well-known Master of Ceremony. At the end, Vijai D’Cunha, expressed his gratitude to the dedicated team that worked tirelessly to bring this project to fruition. He also emphasized the commitment to quality work and highlighted the vibrant surroundings and convenient facilities to visit tourist attractions and pilgrimage destinations which are in close proximity to the hotel complex. He also acknowledged the support and cooperation from the ICARE Builders and Developers, project engineer Vidya Kumar Ujire, and project coordinator Basheer and Praveen and Savitha Fernandes, the owners of SA Halli Mane Resorts and Restaurants, Ujire.
