Udupi: State BJP Women’s Morcha Prez Reena Prakash Inaugurates Familiarization Prog

Udupi, Sep 14: State BJP Women’s Morcha president Reena Prakash inaugurated the familiarization programme for members of Kodagu, Udupi, and Dakshina Kannada districts, during a function held in Bhargav Bhavan, Kutyar, on Tuesday September 13.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Prakash said that there are allegations that women in India did not get their rightful place in society. “It’s not true; equal opportunity has been given to everyone.  Women are engaged in all sorts of jobs, from plying an auto rickshaw to being aircraft pilots.  BJP is like a family.  Its basic objective is building the nation,” added Prakash.  She urged the members to be torchbearers of the society.
 
BJP Udupi district president K Uday Kumar Shetty, BJP Dakshina Kannada district president Padmanabha Kottari, BJP state vice-president Sulochana Bhat, Vishweshwar Bhat, women’s Morcha Udupi overseer Mattar Ratnakar Hegde, Hemalata Satish, BJP Kaup block president Naveen Shetty Kutyar, Udupi women’s Morcha president Reshma Uday Shetty, Vanita Narayan, Jayanti Narayan, Kodagu women’s Morcha president Suma Sudeep, district BJP chief secretaries Tingale Vikramarjun, Shyamala S Kundar, Ravi Anchan, district women’s Morcha chief secretaries Manjula Nayak, Geethanjalai Suvarna, Sandhya, Muralidar Pai, Jyoti Putturaya, Geetha Shet and Latha Acharya were present on the occasion.
