Manama, Jan 16: The Our Lady of Arabia Cathedral recently celebrated a joyous occasion with a double celebration of the feast of Our Lady of Arabia and a family day, held within the premises.

The catholic church in Bahrain celebrated the patronal feast of Our Lady of Arabia and family day on January 12. During this occasion, the day's festivities commenced with several masses, celebrated in different languages, and with a pontifical Mass celebrated by Bishop Aldo Berardi, apostolic vicar of Northern Arabia.

The feast of Our Lady of Arabia was a significant event within the community. This year, the feast was celebrated with great fervor, bringing together the faithful to honour this feast and the family day event which included cultural performances, music and games that took place throughout the day. The essence of happiness and togetherness permeated the air, fostering a sense of belonging and kinship amongst the attendees.

"The theme we have chosen for family day is Embracing Diversity and Celebrating Unity in a single Spirit, quoted by Fr Saji Thomas OFM Cap rector, cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia, Awali.

The celebration on this day promised much more, ensured that everyone found something that captured their interest and brought them joy.
