Madhya Pradesh, Jan 17: Shraddha Gome’s father is an SBI officer. After completing her primary education at St. Raphael’s School in Indore, Shraddha excelled in both her 10th and 12th examinations. She pursued law for her higher studies.

Taking the CLAT examination, Gome secured the top position and enrolled in one of the country's most prestigious law schools, NLSIU in Bengaluru. Shraddha's academic prowess was evident as she graduated with an impressive 13 gold medals, a feat that earned her felicitation from the then Chief Justice of India, Dipak Misra.

Despite her remarkable achievements, Shraddha aimed to contribute more to society and believed that the best way to serve the public was by becoming an IAS officer. She began her UPSC preparation in her hometown of Indore.

In a surprising departure from other IAS aspirants, Shraddha chose not to opt for any coaching and pursued self-study. Devoting 10 to 12 hours to her studies every day without a break, she wrote her UPSC exam in 2021. Her diligence paid off as she successfully cleared both prelims and mains on her first attempt, securing an impressive All India Rank (AIR) of 60 in the interview held in Delhi.

Shraddha emphasizes that, despite the rigorous UPSC preparation, she managed to allocate time for activities such as playing, reading books, watching movies, and enjoying quality time with her family. However, during her study sessions, it was solely focused on books and nothing else.
