Mangaluru: ‘Koli Esru’, ‘Hadinelentu’ movies to be released on Jan 26

Mangaluru, Jan 19: ‘Koli Esru’ directed by Champa P Shetty and ‘Hadinelentu’ directed by Prithvi Konanur are the two Kannada movies that have brought laurels to Kannada language at international level.

Both movies are going to be released all over Karnataka in multiplexes on January 26 according to the information provided at a press conference by directors Champa Shetty and Prithvi Konanur.

Koli Esru and Hadinelentu movies are selected for renowned film festivals like Busan International film festival, MAMI, Hongkong international film festival, Kolkata international film festival, Kerala international film festival, TIFF Kids, Zlin film festival etc. In addition, these movies got nominated for more than 40 awards and have won 24 awards so far.

Koli Esru movie is based on the story written by K T Chikkanna. The story is of rural Mysuru and shot in and around T Narasipura. All the artistes are of Mandya and Mysuru rural areas.

Hadnelentu movie is based on a video that goes viral in a college and the sequence of events that follow the incident.

Both movie tickets can be bought from Paraspara.live website. Audience have already given good response according to Prithvi Konanur.

Geetha Suratkal, Akshata Pandavapura, Prakash P Shetty, Venugopal, Champa Shetty and Prithvi Konanur were present.
