Kasargod, Jan 22: Kayyar Don Bosco AUP School celebrated its 88th annual day with various programmes.
The programme was presided over by Fr Antony M. Shera, secretary of the Mangaluru Catholic Education Board. Paivalike Panchayat president Jayanti K, member Avinash Machado, Manjeshwar subdistrict education officer Krishnamurthy M S, parish priest of Kayyar Christ the King Church and convener of School Fr Vishal Moniz, vice president of Pastoral Committee Roshan D’Souza, secretary Zeena D’Souza, head teacher Peter Rodrigues, president of PTA Zulfikar Ali, president of the Association of Mothers Reshma D’Souza, SPL Lithesh Kumar, and president of the Alumni Association Shashidhar Rai were present.
The chief guest honored the donors who contributed to the school's development. Fr Antony M Shera felicitated the students who achieved special recognition at the Manjeshwar subdistrict and district levels.
Head teacher Peter Rodrigues presented the report. Convener of School Fr Vishal Moniz extended a warm welcome. Magdeline teacher proposed a vote of thanks. Sr Jasmine and Nirmala compered the event. Students who excelled in the art, sports, and education competitions held as a prelude to the annual day were felicitated.
