Udupi: ‘Jaycees Week’ Events Conclude

Udupi, Sep 17: “Jaycees International (JCI) has been engaged in many social welfare programmes including empowerment of youth and also developing their personality.  General support is also essential in their social concern,” urged former state minister Vasant V Salian.
 
He was speaking at the valedictory function of ‘Jaycees Week’ organized by JCI of Kaup at Narayan Guru auditorium, Kaup, on Friday September 16.


 

JD(S) district president Deviprasad Shetty, Kaup Billawar Sahayak Sangh secretary Madhav Palan, Kutyar gram panchayat president Nityanand Shetty, and JCI zonal director Deepak Kumar Yermal were the chief guests on the occasion.
 
Retired gram panchayat employee Ramanna Poojary, chess player Shamit Shetty, and II PUC district second rank holder Deeksha Rao were felicitated during the programme.
 
Kaup JCI former president Praveen Kumar Gurme was also felicitated on the occasion. 
 
Jaceeret president Reshma Rajendra and Jaycees Week assistant director Yogish Rai were also present.
 
Kaup JCI president Rajendra B K welcomed the gathering.  Jaycees Week director Shivanna Bayar briefed on the programme.  Secretary Sudeep Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.
