New Delhi, Sep 17: Puneet Bansal, a resident from Patiala has been receiving numerous amounts of phone calls asking for Amitabh Bachchan ever since the mega star gave out the number claiming to be his own in an episode of reality show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepathi 5’.
Big B was requested to give his mobile number in an episode of KBC which was aired recently. But while giving the number, he happened to give out a wrong number which actually belongs to Puneet.
It is learnt that Puneet’s cell phone began beeping the very minute the number was given out. It seems so far Puneet has received not less than 10,000 calls from all around the world.
On being contacted, a very irritated Puneet said that he has sent a legal notice to Amitabh Bachchan and KBC. He said, “Initially, I was at a loss... But on September 12, when a caller told me he wanted to talk to Amitabh Bachchan and that Big B had given the number during KBC, I understood."
Having received over 2,500 SMSs for Big B, Bansal has now decided to ignore them all and not to answer the calls anymore.
