Dubai, Jan 24: Kaup Overseas Association-UAE marked a significant milestone on January 14, as it hosted the first-year unity meet at Marcopolo Hotel, Dubai. The event aimed to strengthen community bonds and celebrate a year of collective achievements.
The event started with a welcome from our lively host, Mohammed Rafath, kicking off an evening of togetherness and thoughtful moments.
In his welcoming address, Irshad Ahmed expressed gratitude to the guests, sponsors, and contributors who played a pivotal role in making the event a reality. The chief guest, Mohammed Saleem, president of NNO, graced the occasion, emphasizing the importance of sustained collective efforts to uplift the community. He emphasized the significance of empowering the community through training and support, aiming to provide individuals with a regular source of income, rather than offering one-time charity assistance to the needy.
A pivotal point in the event was the launch of the KOA job website, www.kaupoverseas.com, by Tajammal Amanullah. This website serves as a valuable platform for job seekers within the community. Asad Ali then elaborated on the website's features, shedding light on how it will streamline the job search process and enhance the lives of unemployed individuals by facilitating job placement.
Fareed Ahmed presented the journey of success over the past year, highlighting the community's contributions and the positive impact achieved. Ziauddin emphasized the importance of unity and empowerment within the community, stressing the responsibility to support and uplift one another not only through emotional connection with the association but also by providing intellectual support to the organization.
