USA, Sep 17: Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, sending “Vishwakarma Puja” greetings to devotees, urged them to always keep God in their lives.
Rajan Zed, who is the President of Universal Society of Hinduism, in a release in Nevada (USA) today, wished that all prayers of devotees be answered on auspicious occasion of “Vishwakarma Puja”, which is held on September 17.
Vishwakarma is referred to as maker of all, master craftsman-architect-engineer-carver-workman of the gods, author of Visvakarmavastusastra, artisan creator of the universe, maker of celestial chariots and weapons, fashioner of divine ornaments and designer of triloka. Master of arts-carpentry-handicrafts, he presides over Sthapatyaveda and finds mention in Rig-Veda, oldest existing scripture of mankind, and Mahabharata.
Besides performing special Vishwakarma puja; other activities associated with the day usually include tools worship, kite flying, grand feast, etc.
Hinduism is the oldest and third largest religion of the world and moksh (liberation) is its ultimate goal.
