Udupi, Jan 24: Senior public prosecutor Shivaprasad Alva has been appointed as the state counsel in the Nejar Quadruple murder case.

The family of the victims had done multiple requests to the state government, chief minister and the home minister to appoint Shivaprasad Alva as the public prosecutor for the case.
