Sullia: Ladies Team Flocks Police Station for Justice

Sullia, Sep 18: The members of Mahila Morcha and women forums assembled at the police station here for delay in the actions taken to the compliant registered by Halegate resident Shobha Chidananda that one Zaheer had orally abused her daughter.

In yet another case Navooru resident Geetha Sanjeeva had lodged a complaint that some unknown men had entered into her dwelling and threatened her, the complaint regarding which was not taken seriously by the police.

The women representatives urged that speedy action regarding the two cases needs to be taken by the police failing which they would protest for it. The station inspector assured the ladies that he would look into both the issues carefully and take immediate measures.

Taluk panchayat former president Suvarnini, taluk panchayat vice president Gunavati, town panchayat president Sumathi Narayan, Sarojini, Bhageerathi, Kalpana among others were present at the station.
