Mangaluru: St Aloysius ITI celebrates Republic Day

Mangaluru, Jan 26: The 75th Republic Day was celebrated on January 26 at St Aloysius ITI campus premises. Sunil K S, senior operations manager, Fiza by Nexus Mall, Mangaluru was the chief guest of the programme. 

Fr John D’Souza S J, director was the president, Roshan D’Souza, principal, Alwyn Menezes, vice principal, Noel Lobo, training officer, John D’Souza Convener of the programme were present. Staff members and students were present for the flag hoisting programme. 

The flag was hoisted by the chief guest and everyone sang the national anthem. Mahesha, student of AC Technician batch 1 welcomed the chief guest and the gathering. 

The Preamble of Indian constitution was led by Abhay, student of AC Technician batch 1. The students of AC Technician batch 1 students sang a patriotic song. 

The chief guest addressed the gathering by a short message, “I am very happy to be the chief guest of today's programme. The students attend training at Fiza by Nexus Mall and I am very happy that St Aloysius ITI is a part of our team. The students who come to the training ask questions with curiosity, curiosity makes us learn more.” 

Hisham Mohammad, student, AC Technician batch 1, proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was compered by Gururaj student, AC Technician batch 1.
