Kasargod, Jan 28: Goa chief minister Pramod Sawant launched the Kerala State Level Padayatra led by BJP state president K Surendran Talipadpu Maidan here on Saturday, January 27 evening.
"In Kerala even the governor has no security. A situation has arisen here wherein the central government has to provide security to the governor," Sawant said. He questioned whether governments like that in Kerala can provide protection to the common people.
Union minister of state for external affairs V Muralidharan, NDA state coordinator Tushar Vella Pally, leaders P K Krishnadas, Kummanam Rajasekaran, C K Padma Nabhan, C K Janu, BJP district president Kuntar Ravish Tantri and others were present.
The walk will pass through 20 Lok Sabha constituencies of the state and end at Palakkad on February 27.
