Hebri, Jan 28: A tragic accident unfolded in Jakkanamakki, Nadpalu village, Hebri, at 07:25 am on Sunday, January 28 killing an elderly woman.
A man, Srikanth, driving an Innova car from Hebri to Agumbe at high speed and recklessly, collided with an auto-rickshaw while overtaking it. Subsequently, the car collided with a KSRTC government bus traveling from Agumbe to Hebri in front of him.
The collision resulted in serious injuries to Shantamma (77), a passenger in the car.
She was promptly taken to Hebri Government Hospital, but unfortunately, medical intervention failed to save her, and she succumbed to her injuries.

Mon, Jan 29 2024Very sad .Reckless driving caused own passanger from car.What a tragody.Hope she was not his relative?Someone had to leave the life because of accused.Hope he feels guilty and give him severe punishment and compansation to the family (Hope not from own)Heartfelt sympathy to the family.May her soul rest in Peace.Some people never understand why one should drive according to the traffic situation.
