Bantwal: Vishwakarma Community Gathers for Special ‘Puja’, Religious Meet

Bantwal, Sep 19: “The contributions of the Vishwakarma community are significant in the society,” said B G Ramesh Acharya, secretary, Vishwakarma Federation.
 
He was speaking at the religious meet organized by Vishwakarma Samaj Seva Sangh at Ganadapadpu auditorium, B C Road, on Saturday September 17.


Acharya called on the youngsters of the Vishwakarma community to follow the traditions and customs as done by ancestors and to work for the welfare of society.
 
Sangh president B Jayaprakash Acharya presided over the programme.
 
The Sangh honorary president S M Janardhan Acharya, Vijaya Bank Thumbe branch manager Sundar Acharya, and Vishawa Jyoti Mahila Mandal president Sharmila Sudhakar Acharya were present on the dais.
 
Stage artiste Rajesh Bantwal and community’s talented students were felicitated during the programme.
 
Purohit Ramesh Acharya led the Vishwakarma ‘puja’ organized by Vishwakarma the  Sangh on the occasion.
 
Jayaprakash Acharya welcomed the gathering.  Narayan Acharya proposed the vote of thanks.  Secretary Harish Acharya Kalladka and treasurer S Chandrasheakr Acharya co-ordinated the programme.  Prakash Thumbe compered the programme.
