Mangaluru: Suspense thriller Kannada movie ‘Klaantha’ to be released on Feb 2

Mangaluru, Jan 31: Suspense thriller Kannada movie ‘Klaantha’, directed by Vaibhav Prashanth and produced by Uday Ammannaya will be released on February 2.

Director Vaibhav Prashant and lead artiste Vignesh, who directed and acted in the Tulu movie ‘Dagalbajilu’ are working together in ‘Klaantha’. This is the second Kannada movie by director Vaibhav Prashant. He has directed ‘Rangan Style’ earlier. The teaser of the movie is already released and the makers have received wide spread appreciation.

Vignesh and Sangeeta Bhat play the lead in the movie. All have widely appreciated Sangeeta’s acting and action. Panchami Vamanjoor, daughter of Tulunadu comedy actor Bhojaraj Vamanjoor is making her debut with ‘Klaantha’. Timmappa Kulal, famous villain of Coastalwood and of the wel-known Cha Parka team fame, has done a unique role in the movie. The rest of the cast contains Shobharaj, Veena Sundar, Sangeeta Yuva, Swapna Shettigar, Comedy Kiladi Praveen Jain, Deepika, Vamadeva Puninchathaya, Raghavendra Karant, Akash Salian and Krishna.

The cinematography of ‘Klaantha’ is handled by Tulu movie ‘Yesa’ fame Mohan Lokanathan, S P Chandrakanth has composed the music, the dialogues are written by Mahesh Dev Mandya, P R Saundarraj is the editor of the movie, Vinod has done the stunts, and the lyrics are written by Shashiraj Kavoor and Santhosh Nayak. Sathish Ammannaya, Jayakumar, Arun Kumar, Pradeep Gowda and Hemant Rai Manavalike are the co-producers of the movie.
