Udupi, Feb 7: As per the complaints received by the advocates of Udupi during a meet with Karnataka Upa Lokayukta, the Lokayukta SP conducted a search at the the Udupi registration office as per a search warrant issued by the K N Phanindra, Karnataka Upa Lokayukta.
During his visit to the district in a programme, a lawyer had verbally complained that the corruption was taking place in the Udupi registration office. As per this complaint, the Upa Lokayukta Justice K N Phanindra issued a search warrant for the investigation of the Udupi registration office and ordered the Mangaluru Division Lokayukta SP to investigate.
A team led by the Mangaluru Lokayukta superintendent of Police visited the Udupi registration office as per the order of search warrant and conducted an investigation.
