I think in almost all APARTMENTS society is only for name sake. All are busy with their personal work. Committee members only for show and collect matainnece. My opinion is always it's better to give the maintenance work to out side agency and collect more subscription from owners monthly.

Even though out side agency given the task, some one or committee shall be there to watch what the agency is doing? So end of the day, expenses increases.

Association people are mainly targeting the commission business by means of blocking to let flats in the building. So they are least bothered for the safety of tenants/owners. Better book them under homicide. Their negligence caused innocent live.
