Bantwal: Irregular heartbeat of foetus – Six-month pregnant woman dies

Bantwal, Feb 16: A woman who was six-months pregnant, who got admitted to hospital due to illness of the foetus, died on February 14 at the Lady Goschen Hospital here.

The deceased is identified as Sujatha (40), wife of Vasantha, a resident of Tenka Kajekaru. She was admitted to Lady Goschen Hospital as it was diagnosed that the heartbeat of the six-month-old foetus was irregular.

Vasanatha-Sujatha couple got married 10 years ago. But they did not have any children. This was the first baby that Sujatha was carrying after 10 years of marriage.

Sujatha had worked as an assistant in the village accountant’s office in Sarapady village and was well-known in the locality.
