SRK Itching to Do Romantic Film

Gurgaon, Sep 23 (IANS): Bollywood's king of romance Shah Rukh Khan has been doing hardcore stunts for his upcoming films "RA.One" and "Don 2", and says now he desperately wants to do a "soft romantic" film.

"I have been doing a lot of stunts of late but I am not tired of doing them. Honestly, now I am tired of promoting my film 'RA.One'," Shah Rukh said on the sidelines of the Global Indian Music Awards (GIMA) at Kingdom of Dreams here Thursday night.

"I went through a special drill to master the stunts that I did in both the films - 'Ra.One' and 'Don 2'," he added.

"I have been working really hard all this while and I must say the stuntmen have really helped me a lot to pull off all the action sequences," the actor said.

"Now, I am really looking forward to a soft romantic film," added the 45-year-old, who played the perfect lover in films like "Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge", "Dil To Pagal Hai", "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" and "Kal Ho Naa Ho", among others.

"RA.One", a superhero film, has been directed by Anubhav Sinha and stars Shah Rukh, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal. The film is slated for release Oct 26.

"Don 2: The Chase Continues", an action thriller starring Priyanka Chopra, will release Dec 23.
