Mangaluru, Feb 19: ICYM Bondel unit organised 'Smash it up' badminton tournament for parishioners on Febraury 18 at 11.00 am in the Global Badminton Arena Vamanjoor .

The Inaugural programme began at 11 am with a prayer. Alrick D'Silva welcomed the gathering. Fr Andrew Leo D'Souza parish priest - St Lawrence Church in his presidential speech wished good luck to all the participants. Surjith was the refree for the competition. There were 12 men's team & 3 women's team in the tournament.

 

 

Fr Peter Gonsalves director ICYM Bondel Unit, Fr Lancy D'Souza asst parish priest Bondel were present.

Competition was held for Men's Doubles & Women's Doubles.

Results of the matches are :

Men's Double's
Winners - Calvin & Stephen
Runners - FR Peter & Gration

Women Doubles
Winners - Joylin & Lanuwin
Runners - Sunitha & Sweedal

Loyd- ICYM sports secretary expressed his gratitude to all those who helped to make this event a successful one.
