Mumbai, Sep 24: Following Canadian Russel Peters' comments on Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan and Aamir Khan, fans are now upset with Akshay Kumar for not taking up damage control measures immediately.

Aishwarya and Abhishek are also reportedly upset with Akshay for not doing anything about the 'insulting' comments that Russel made during the promo of 'Speedy Singhs'.

Russel who has always been open about his views on Bollywood, could not hide his distaste when he called Aamir a 'd***head' and even said a few umpleasant remarks about Ash calling her a 'terrible actress'.

In a recent interview, he said ,"I don't follow, nor do I want to follow, Bollywood. I've no time for Bollywood. I don't care about Bollywood at all and I don't even want to do any film. I don't like the Bollywood jhatkas and matkas that they call it - the singing and dancing and also the dramatic crying."

Sources say that complaints have been taken up at the National Commission for Women, who are at present looking into the matter. There are rumours that a few fans have also decided to boycott the screenings of 'Speedy Singhs' in theatres.

Since Akshay has been a family friend to the Bachchans, fans are surprised to know that he did no damage control.

Ontario-native Peters, who has worked in Akshay Kumar's Indo-Canadian venture "Breakaway", was here in India to promote "Speedy Singhs".
