Mumbai: JAVAAB Conducts Annual General Body Meeting

Mumbai, Sep 27: The annual general body meeting of Juhu Andheri Versova Ville Parle Association of Bunts (JAVAAB) was held at Blue Water Hotel auditorium, Andheri (West), on Saturday September 24.  JAVAAB president Papillion Raghu L Shetty presided over the meeting.

In his presidential address, he said that promoting caste-based culture is equal to worshiping God.  “It also forms part of humanity and will lead to communal harmony.  Peace and happiness lies in helping the community,” he said.


 

JAVAAB former president B Vivek Shetty, Ramesh U Shetty, Dr Vachan Shetty, lawyer Anand V Shetty, S C Shetty, Vishvanat Hegde, Anand A Shetty, Shankar T Shetty, Dr Prabhakar, B R Poonja, Pandu Shetty, Vaman Shetty, I R Shetty, Vishwanat U Mada, Mohan Shetty, and executive committee members were present on the occasion.

Scholarships were distributed to talented community students by Raghu L Shetty during the programme. Joint treasurer Ashok R Shetty and others were present on the dais.

JAVAAB vice-president Nagesh N Shetty welcomed the gathering.  Honorary chief secretary B Shivaram Naik and joint secretary Madhukar A Shetty presented the annual report.  Honorary treasurer Jagdish V Shetty presented the annual accounts.

B Shivaram Naik proposed the vote of thanks while C C Shetty compered the programme.
