Mumbai: St Paul’s Catholic Association Celebrates ‘Founder’s Day’

Mumbai, Sep 27: The annual general body meeting of St Paul’s Catholic Association was held their auditorium located near Lion Gate, S B S Road, Fort, on Sunday September 25.

Fr Daniel Binto offered the Holy Mass at Holy Name Cathedral, Wood House, Colaba, on Sunday morning. Dulcine Cardoza and Laveena Mendonca inaugurated the simple function held at the Association auditorium here.

Kodak officer Anil Mendonca was the chief guest on the occasion.

Central Railway’s first ever Mangalorean retired station master Felix D’Costa, entrepreneur Denis Cardoza, retired officer Joseph Menezes, Francis Mathias, Thomas Noronha, Johnson Rodrigues, Rony R Byndoor, and George Pinto were the guests of honour.

The logo of the Association and the souvenir ‘Jatan’ were released on the same occasion.

Association’s veteran member Thomas Noronha initiated the feast of Nativity of Mary.

Association president Stany Fernandes welcomed the gathering.  Honorary secretary Richard D’Souza delivered the introductory address.

‘Founder’s Day’ was celebrated commending the sacrifice of veterans on the same occasion.

Association vice-president Sylvester Peris, joint treasurer Anil D’Souza, and veteran member Thomas Noronha honored the guests.
