Mumbai: Swami Sudhindrateerta to Offer Gold Crown to Goddess During ‘Navaratri Utsav’

Mumbai, Sep 28: Swami Sudhindrateerta of Kashi Mutt will present a gold crown to Goddess Durgadevi during the religious programmes scheduled to be held as part of the ‘Navaratri Utsav’ at Saraswat Cultural and Recreation Centre ground at 7.00 am on Wednesday September 28.

The golden crown was displayed for chosen devotees at Kashi Mutt, Dahisar (East), on Monday September 26.


Convener M V Kini, assistant convener J D Rao, joint convener Saguna K Kamath, president K R Mallya, honorary chief secretary M U Padiyar, honorary treasurer Mohan V Kamath, joint secretary Sanoor Manohar V Kamath, other members, and several devotees were present on the occasion.

The gold crown costs about Rs 50 lac and was made by Ramdas Kamath of Swarna Jewellers of Udupi.
