Sirsi (Uttara Kannada), Mar 6: The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) report released by the BJP in the social media on the alleged audio recording of pro-Pakistan slogan shouters in Vidhana Soudha will not be accepted by the State Government, declared Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday.

Speaking to media persons in Sirsi of Uttara Kannada district, he said the Congress government will go by the official FSL report that will be submitted by its own police department.

“We don’t have to listen to BJP. The police have registered a case and have even taken 3 persons into custody,’’ he said making it clear that the government will not tolerate anti-national elements.

Siddaramaiah accused the BJP of misleading the people by releasing the so called FSL report by a private agency, whose credentials were not known.

The Chief Minister said the State Government is taking all steps to mitigate the problems of the people due to non-availability of drinking water in some districts.

The government has already instructed the Deputy Commissioners and Chief Executive Officers as well as other civic authorities to ensure that the people are not made to face serious problems due to drinking water shortages. Sufficient funds have already been released.

The State Government is taking all steps to tackle the drought problems, he explained.
