Mumbai, Sep 29: “Human virtues should be embodied from birth. I have learnt them from my father and discharged my responsibilities honestly. I have the satisfaction of working transparently as Lokayukta of Karnataka. I have always lived within my income, never been lured by vested interests. I have campaigned for social justice, free from corruption,” said former Karnataka Lokayukta Justice Santosh Hegde.
He was speaking after being felicitated by metro-based Bunts Justice Committee during a function held at Hotel Krishna Palace, Nana Chowk, Charni Road, recently.
