Kasargod, Mar 9: The bodies of two migrant workers, were discovered on the railway tracks near Hosadurga on Saturday March 9.

The deceased have been identified as identified as Santhu Malik (32) and Faruk Shaikh (23) from West Bengal.

Both were construction workers residing in quarters at Hosadurga Kolavayalu. Authorities found an ATM card and a mobile phone nearby, both covered in powder.

Their bodies were discovered on the railway tracks near Hosadurga gate, with suspicions arising that a moving train collided with them while they were walking on the tracks. The Hosadurga station police conducted an inquest into the incident, and the bodies have been placed in the district hospital morgue.

    these so-called migrant workers from W Bengal are nothing but illegal Bangladeshis / rohingyas ... people who engage them know this ... RIP for these two because they died so far away from their families and homes ... it is not difficult to make out whether died due to collision with train or they were killed and placed on tracks ...

    Definitely they did not hear the train approach. Ear phone cables and ear pods should be banned outdoors . People should use them only inside public places like hospitals /office waiting area and inside trains buses planes etc.
