Daijiworld Media Network – Brahmavar (MS)

Brahmavar, Mar 10: A priest trespassed on the house of a person belonging to the Scheduled Tribe and created a ruckus for not offering him the rituals related to funeral of his relative who died recently.

The incident was reported from Hosru of Brahmavar taluk. Raghavendra's mother had died a few days back.

On March 6, the rites in memory of the deceased person was held at Raghavendra's house. However, priest Ramakrishna was not called for the ritual but the same was offered to some other priest.

Priest Ramakrishna entered the house and allegedly cursed the family and threatened them with dire consequences.

A case was filed against the priest in the Brahmavar police station.

Nowadays Religious preachers & heads are behaving like politicians. Their primary moto is minting money rather than service. Iam not fingering to particular religion . My comment is for all the religious leaders.

It was there since times immemorial, but now these so called protectors of religions and messengers of the Creator have become so greedy and fallen into such a competition that they have started acting like modern day real extortionists!

The very fact that a so called priest is indulging in such lowly acts of assaulting a weak person from a lower caste just because he lost one customer demonstrates clearly that all types of rituals across religions are man made by a certain group of people who act as self styled protectors of the religion and messengers of some Gods to extract easy money from the naive believers in the name of some Gods, Godesses, spirits etc etc... .. all instilling fear in the minds of people, bullying and extracting protection money from the blind followers.... just another form of modern day extortion 😌🙏🙏🙏
