Karkala: Tempo overturns, one killed

Karkala, Mar 22: A tempo transporting coconuts overturned at Kadari Cross of Mala village of the taluk in which a person lost his life.

It is learnt that the driver of the tempo lost control of the vehicle at Kadari Cross. Five people were injured in the mishap. They were all admitted to Karkala government hospital among which one person succumbed.

Seven people including driver were travelling in the tempo. Police visited the spot and are investigating further.
