Udupi, Mar 27: "Let Shivaraj Tangadagi confront the millions of supporters rallying behind Prime Minister Modi," asserted BJP district spokesperson Sathish Shetty Mutlupadi.

Addressing a news conference at the BJP district office today, March 27, Shetty stated that Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, desperate due to Modi's popularity, had labelled Modi as ‘Maut ka Saudagar’. “Mallikarjun Kharge referred to Modi as a poisonous snake, and chief minister Siddaramaiah consistently attacks Modi singularly. Minister Shivaraj Tangadagi's remark about slapping young Modi supporters shows their cowardice. Let him face Modi supporters if he dares," expressed Shetty in frustration.

K Raghavendra Kini added, "Congress's derogatory remarks against Modi stem from their fear of electoral defeat. The party, reeling nationwide, resorts to such tactics out of apprehension of a similar fate in the state. Congress cannot bear the overwhelming support shown by the youth for Modi's third term as prime minister, acknowledging his leadership.

"The BJP has organized four conferences for party workers across four Vidhan Sabha constituencies in Udupi. The Kundapur conclave will take place at Koteshwar Saraswati Kalyana Mantapa at 4 pm on March 29, followed by the Kaup conclave at Kaup Hotel Auditorium at 4 pm on March 30. The Udupi conclave will be near the BJP district office in Udupi at 10:30 am on April 3, and the Karkala conclave will be at Karkala Manjunath Pai Auditorium at 10:30 am on April 5. Additionally, women's, backward class, and Yuva Morcha conclaves will be held at the district level," he said.

BJP district vice president Kiran Kumar Bailur, district spokesperson Vijayakumar Udyavar, district media head Srinidhi Hegde Heerebettu and district office secretary Shivakumar Ambalapadi were present.
