Mangaluru: Project exhibition held at Srinivas University Institute of Engineering & Technology

Mangaluru, May 4: Final Year B Tech engineering students project exhibition-2024 was organized at Srinivas University Institute of Engineering & Technology, SUIET, Mukka, Mangaluru. Chief guest, Ajith Kamath (MD, Ajit Enterprises and chairman of confederation of Indian Industry, CII, Mangaluru District Council) inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.

Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao (chancellor, Srinivas University) presided over the programme. As many as 65 numbers of final year project models in Computer Science Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Nano Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Cyber Security & Cyber Forensics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, IoT, Robotics, AIVR were exhibited and demonstrated by the final year engineering students.

 

Dr K Satyanarayana Reddy (vice chancellor, Srinivas University), Dr Thomas Pinto (dean, Srinivas University Institute of Engineering & Technology, SUIET) and prof Shrinath Rao K (project coordinator) were present on the dias.

In his inaugural address, chief guest Ajith Kamath appreciated the project work and congratulated the students for coming up with projects with innovation and novelty. Ajith Kamath advised the students to learn new things, highlight the problems, analyse it thoroughly, inculcate good communication, engage with people and society, learn from others, build a strong network and give good contribution to the society and nation.

In his address, Dr K Satyanarayana Reddy advised the students to believe in themselves and to have positive attitude and thoughts in life. Prof Satyanarayana Reddy said that humans are born engineers, hence in order to excel in life and career we need to put more effort by using the resources and ideas effectively.

In his presidential remarks, Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao Ji said that innovation, research and development are very important in life, hence at Srinivas University more focus is given for the research-based study culture. Dr. CA Raghavendra Rao advised the students to set a clearly defined goal in their life, put more efforts to get good results to reach the goal, and take the future as a challenge. Dr Raghavendra Rao also said that positive thoughts and good deeds will help youths to emerge as leaders in the society.

After the address, Er Ajith Kamath had interaction with students on how to become a successful entrepreneur and the various investment opportunities available.

After the formal inauguration, Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, Er Ajith Kamath and other dignitaries reviewed the project models and congratulated the students and faculty members for coming up with useful project works. 

Dr Thomas Pinto delivered the welcome address and keynote address.

Prof Shrinath Rao briefed about the project exhibition-2024 and introduced the chief guest to the gathering.

Prof Shwetha Pai (training & placement Officer) delivered the vote of thanks.

Disha Ameen performed the invocation. Prof Rohan Fernandes compered the programme as master of ceremony. HoDs, faculty members, staff and students were present for the formal inauguration programme and project exhibition.
