Yesha Harsora reveals her character in ‘Khubsurrat’ mirrors Mumbai's ‘never say die’ spirit


Mumbai, May 8 (IANS): Actress Yesha Harsora will be seen in a new show titled ‘Khubsurrat', showcasing the journey of a dark-skinned girl trying to make it big. She says the spirit of her character mirrors Mumbai’s ‘never say die’ attitude.

Talking about essaying the role of Navya, Yesha said: “ Stepping aboard this show is my way of encouraging the viewers to follow their dreams even if people disregard their potential. My character’s relentless spirit mirrors the very essence of Mumbai's ‘never say die’ attitude.”

She added: “If there's one thing this city teaches you, it's that dreams have no limits, and jazbaa (passion) is the antidote to self-doubt, keeping the engines of ambition chugging. I hope Navya's journey in this inspirational drama sparks a fire within every dreamer's heart."

It tells the tale of Navya who has a passion for winning. Coming from a chawl, Navya stands tall with aspirations, wanting to make it big despite her father's rejection for being the only dark-skinned one in the family.
