Beltangady: Veterinarian sent to judicial custody for alleged assault, death of man

Beltangady, May 16: Senior veterinarian examiner Kumar of Arasinamakki Veterinary Hospital has been sent to judicial custody in connection with the assault and death of Krishnappa, also known as Kitta (58), a resident of Patrame, which occurred on May 13 at Kokkad Circle.

It is alleged that Krishnappa fell and died after being assaulted by the accused, veterinarian Kumar. Bharathi, the wife of the deceased Krishnappa, filed a complaint with the Dharmasthala police station.

Kumar was arrested on murder charges on May 14 and has now been sent to 14 days of judicial custody by the court.

    @Mohammed; u snatched my perception bro; poor Kitta might have been a bone 🦴 inside the Vet's kabab for whatever reason; otherwise, there is no chance of him getting into a physical altercation with the poor and emaciated Kitta (may his soul RIP)
