Udupi: Myrtle Lewis takes charge as principal of Kediyoor's Lords International Residential School

Udupi, May 16: Myrtle L F Lewis, took charge as the principal of Kediyoor's Lords International Residential School of Kediyoor Education Trust, Udupi. Bhuvanendra Kediyoor, chairman Kediyoor education trust welcomed the new principal with a bouquet. Bhavyashree Kediyoor, director Abhin Devdas, trustee Hirianna Sherigar, director-operations and Shivashankar were present at the moment.

My foremost priority will be to uphold and enhance the standards set forth by the management, fostering an environment conducive to holistic student development," she added.

Myrtle has a vast experience of 38 years in the teaching field. A dedicated educationist who has headed some renowned institutions in her career. Myrtle had initiated many revolutionary measures in the field of teaching and has successfully reached the desired goals.

Considering her achievements and vast experience the Kediyoor Education Trust of Udupi, has appointed Myrtle as the new principal of Kediyoor’s Lords International Residential School, Udupi.

Myrtle was bestowed with the Best Teacher Award by the department of education, recognizing her outstanding educational leadership. With a master’s degree in science, Myrtle served as a faculty member of chemistry at the prestigious National English School in Bengaluru. Later, she joined St Mary’s English Medium School in Kannarpady in 1989 as principal and served there for an exceptional 30 years, significantly shaping the school's trajectory. After retiring from St Mary’s, Myrtle joined Don Bosco English Medium School in Shirva in 2019 and served as its principal. With her strong leadership qualities and unwavering commitment, the institution flourished under her guidance. Myrtle has garnered numerous accolades for her selfless and dedicated service in the field of education.

Kediyoor’s Lords International Residential School is affiliated to Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi and is following ICSE curriculum adhering to the National Education Policy 2020. English is the medium of instruction and first language.
