Bachchans to Host Ash's Baby Shower on Oct 18

Mumbai, Oct 18: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is in her eighth month of pregnancy, is all set for her baby shower on Tuesday October 18 at the Bachchan residence 'Jalsa'.

Her baby shower will be hosted by mother-in-law actor Jaya Bachchan.

Invitees' list include names like Twinkle Khanna, Maanyata Dutt, Mana Shetty, Gauri Khan, Bhavana Pandey, Sonali Bendre, Shrishti Arya, Kirron Kher, Rinke Khanna, Sridevi, designer Ana Singh, Sussanne Roshan and Kajol.

Abhishek told media persons that Ash is expected to deliver their first baby in November. A very excited Abhishek said, "I will be with Aishwarya when she delivers. I can't wait to hold our baby!"

Further adding, he said, "We've not been given a date yet, but yes, it is a November baby. That will take the number of November borns in the Bachchan family to six, starting with my grandfather Harivansh Rai Bachchan, my father-in-law Krishnakant Rai, Aishwarya, my nephew Agastya and my pet dog Shanook."

The event will be held in the afternoon. As per Indian customs, the girl leaves for her mother's house after the baby shower. Ash will go to her mother's house and the Rais will follow their own customs and traditions, but that will be an intimate gathering of close friends and family members only.
