Udupi, May 25: Two gangs engaged in a fight on the national highway between Udupi and Manipal on May 18.
It is reported that the youths from both gangs are from Kaup. A video of the incident went viral on social media.
The police arrested the gang members and produced them in court. They have been remanded to judicial custody until June 1.
According to sources, the gangs had a dispute over the sale of a car.

An FIR was registered on May 20 based on the available information at that time. Additional sections will be added based on the evidence obtained from the video footage.
Two individuals, identified as Ashiq, Rakib and Saqlan associated with the Garuda Gang, have been apprehended, while the remaining suspects are currently evading capture. Udupi SP Dr Arun K confirmed the arrest and stated that two swift cars, two bikes, one sword, and one dagger have been seized in connection with the case.
