Beltangady, Jun 1: A case where a minor girl was raped by three young men at different times and made her six months pregnant has come to light.
A case of gang rape and POCSO was filed on Friday, May 31 with Beltangady police station.
The girl was gang-raped by the trio at different times in ??Beltangady police station limits. Now, the girl is reportedly six months pregnant and has been admitted to a hospital.
On May 31, the girl filed a complaint with the Beltangady police station who registered a case under gang rape and POCSO against the three. In connection with the case, three residents of Moodbidri, Muhammad Iqbal (26), Farooq (19) and a minor boy were arrested on Saturday, June 1.
The two were produced in the Beltangady court. The court ordered judicial custody. The minor boy has been produced in the Mangaluru Juvenile Court.

Sat, Jun 01 2024The baby cannot be aborted at this point of time. Tricky situation. The trio will get out of jail soon as we have greedy lawyers to bring them out. Only the person who will suffer is the girl. Hope she gets justice.
