Very true; no more words to express the pathetic state of their stone 🪨 age practices in this so called Smart City; very high probability of coming in contact with a live wire and perishing...in the 🌧️ y season it's advisable to use gumboots and carry an electric tester as many times the electricity supply and lighting poles and surrounding water puddles carry leaked current from the shoddy equipment and workmanship..😞😞

Losses are obvious if you see how MESCOM operates. Most of their Fuse Boxes, Transformers, and Control Panels are left open to nature for obvious damage. Their employees in the field wear no safety or have no safe equipment. I will share photo proofs if any one in MESCOM cares. Plus MESCOM shuts power supply ten times a day for no reason and due to which electrical appliances and equipment gets damaged with loss to consumers. So its no surprise that MESCOM will show that it runs in loss, however, in reality, they cover their loss with a Fixed Charge of Rs.350 in their Electric Bills for which their staff in their Udupi office have no explanation. MESCOM is an unprofessional company who do not care for their consumers.
