Kaup, Jun 3: A verbal clash erupted at the Kaup polling station during the South-West Graduates and Teachers Constituency Legislative Council election. Party workers from major political parties were reportedly pressuring voters to cast their ballots for their respective candidates.

Congress and BJP workers were both attempting to attract the attention of voters, leading to a heated exchange of accusations between the two groups. The situation escalated, prompting the intervention of the Kaup police.

The police officers on the scene managed to disperse the workers from both parties, restoring order to the polling station. Despite the brief period of chaos, the election process continued smoothly afterward.
