Puttur, Jun 6: Police have been unable to solve the murder case of a homemaker killed in broad daylight 10 years ago.
Pushpalatha, the wife of Gurumurthy, the then head teacher of Hirebandadi Government High School, was found dead with her throat slit in the rented house where they resided in Uppinangady on June 5, 2014.
Despite a manhunt, police have been unable to apprehend the killer. Women's organizations have protested against the police's failure to capture the culprit.
However, the case remains a mystery.
