Bengaluru, Jun 13: Deccano Casements Private Limited, formerly known as Deccan Structural Systems Private Limited, has appointed Vincent Mendonsa as chief executive officer, effective June 1. Mendonsa, previously serving as general manager, has been a vital part of the Deccan Group of Companies since July 1984. His extensive experience and significant contributions to the door and window business have set industry benchmarks for product knowledge and meticulous attention to detail. Vincent’s leadership, marked by a relentless focus on operational excellence and strategic management, has been instrumental in propelling the company forward.
Mendonsa’s new role underscores his unwavering dedication and substantial contributions to the company’s growth. Throughout his career, he has been pivotal in expanding the product portfolio, introducing uPVC windows and doors in 2007, and recently leading the expansion into aluminium window and door systems. In 2023, Vincent successfully spearheaded the company’s entry into international markets, overseeing window and door installations at a resort in the Maldives.
Vincent’s professionalism and calm demeanour have earned him respect from the entire team at Deccano Casements Private Limited. His long association with the company and interactions with various architects, builders, and developers have solidified the WoodMate brand's reputation.

The decision to appoint Mendonsa was made by Clarence Pereira and Adrian D’Souza, directors of the Deccan Group of Companies.
