Sullia: Car loses control crashing into compound wall; three injured

Sullia, Jun 20: A car lost control and crashed into a roadside compound wall, breaking a nearby electric pole and injuring three passengers in an incident that occurred on the morning of June 20 at Kodi turn in Kanakamajalu village.

The car, carrying passengers from Kundapur and heading to Madikeri, lost control at the Kodi turn. The vehicle crashed into the compound wall of Raviprakash Budleguttu's property, causing the nearby electric pole to break and fall onto the road, disrupting traffic for some time.

The car had three occupants, including the driver, who sustained minor injuries. Local residents, including Hassan Gausiya from Sunnamule, assisted the injured and took them to the government hospital in Sullia and KVG Hospital for treatment.

MESCOM personnel arrived at the scene and repaired the damaged electric pole.
