Beltangady, Jun 26: It is a proud moment for Sacred Heart English Medium School, as one of its students has been selected to represent India at the international level in the South Asia Target Ball Championship.

Floyd Misquith, a 9th-grade student and the son of Francis and Diana Misquith, has been chosen to participate in the South Asia Target Ball Championship in Kathmandu, Nepal, from July 8 to 11. This remarkable achievement comes after his excellent performance at the national target ball competition held in Alwar, Rajasthan.

The Indian Target Ball Association (Regd) organized the national competition, where Floyd showcased his skills and earned his place on the national team. Under the guidance of his school's physical education teacher, Manjunath, Floyd has been preparing rigorously for this international event.

The priests of Madanthyar Church, along with the local community, have extended their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Floyd. They hope that he will continue to bring honour to their town and achieve great success at the international level.
