Mangaluru, Jul 13: The St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) men's team bagged the runner up trophy in the overall men’s VTU state level powerlifting championship.
Dhawan Rai from II-year electronics & communication engineering has secured gold in VTU state level below 59 kg category powerlifting championship and Hrithik Chand from II-year master of business administration secured gold in VTU State level below 120 kg category powerlifting championship held on July 10-11 at New Horizon College of Engineering, Bengaluru under the guidance of physical education director (PED), Vaneesha V Rodrigues and assistant PED, Sudheer M.
The management of SJEC has congratulated the entire team and the physical education directors for this overwhelming achievement.
